I was visiting LA and I looked up coffee spots nearby and discovered Alchemist. Upon entering, I loved the interior. The cafe is nice and it seemed like it would make a great study/work spot. I ordered a matcha latte and I enjoyed it.
The service was great although there was a wait because it was pretty busy when I went.
I recommend coming if you are a coffee person, they have many drinks that looked good!

Pricey if you sit for a long time and drink a lot of coffee but everything else is perfect. Valet is 2 dollars... i hate valeting for anything but that is a bargain for the perfect coffee shop to go and do work or study. WiFi is fast!!

Had some macaroons and coffee here. The place is very popular and was lucky to get a seat! It's definitely a college/academic atmosphere--most people had books or laptops with them and were studying. The place was nice and quiet.
